Eavesdroppings.
Spent a good amount of time at the In God We Trust sample sale in SoHo for Racked, resisting discounted Hyden Yoo pieces. To say it was difficult would be beyond an understatement. Point is, it’s worth going.
My rather brief and inconsequential comment on the Oak sale made it to a Quicklink on Racked! Sweet. Here’s an example of one of the “be-strapped” items, from their “bondage” line:

Stopped by the Group Seize sur Vingt sale for Racked today to check out a bunch of button-down shirts. Fun. A word of warning: Be careful not to trip over the bucket catching the drip from the leaky ceiling.
So… I covered the Fred Perry sample sale for Racked over a month ago. (Mah B, sorry mum!)
In retrospect, I was a little harsh on the sale. It wasn’t so bad - I was just broke and had been wandering around Chelsea for half an hour trying to find the place. (Also, I added a tag - Sample Sales!)
I hadn’t been to a sample sale for Racked in awhile, so I was doubly excited was I was told that not only would I be checking out a sale, but it would be the Loden Dager sale. These sales tend to be hard on my wallet, as it’s hard to peruse the racks without ending up wanting something desperately. I was spared this time, however, thanks to the Gods of Bad Sample Sales.
My report is up on Racked, and has been politely rephrased. I opened crudely with:
The Loden Dager sample sale, located in a creepy industrial loft on west 29th street, will provide joy for fatties and fans of seersucker jackets.
I was bitter because everything was $80+ and too large.
